Looking for a great hike near New Haven? Check out the Alice Newton Street Memorial Park in Woodbridge Connecticut. The parks tranquil 82 acres were donated to the town in 1928 by Newton Herbert Street, and dedicated and named for his mother, Alice Newton Street. Attractions include the Wewapaug falls in the northern section of the park, as well as multiple bridges, benches, and stone walls scattered throughout the trails.
