This summer join the town of New Canaan celebrate the 50^th anniversary of their Village Fair and Sidewalk Sale on July 16^th from 9am-5pm. This event brings all the locals together and draws in a crowd from surrounding Fairfield County towns as well because of the variety of products offered. Vendors get their own tents to sell locally made goods as well as plenty of delicious food, you are sure to find something you love. This open market began in the 1920’s just as a gathering of artists and jewelry makers but since then has expanded to include all sorts of other activities kids will love to take part in like rock climbing. This one-day event is not one to miss with the main streets in the center of town being shut down so shoppers can fully enjoy themselves.
