If you’re tired of breaking the dust-covered slip and slide of out of the garage yet again, consider taking your family to ‘Slide the City’ in New Haven on June 25th. This gargantuan, padded slide will stretch across New Haven. At 1000 feet, it’s roughly the length of 3 football fields. By attending the event, you’ll also be supporting youth@work, a local program that seeks to provide summer and school-year employment, volunteer, and workplace experiences for youths in the area. In addition to the slide itself, the day-long event will also include food, drinks, live music, and more.
