Have you ever wanted to touch a jellyfish? Well now you can, or at least until January 31^st. The “Jiggle a Jelly” exhibit at the Norwalk Aquarium allows guests to touch live moon jellyfish, which are one of the most common species in Long Island Sound. Most people know to avoid jellyfish when swimming in the ocean to avoid a painful sting. But this exhibits shows that there are some jellyfish out there that you can touch without being hurt. Admission to the exhibit is free with a ticket to the aquarium. Additionally, you can view a few different species of jellyfish at a gallery in a different part of the building. There hasn’t been an opportunity to touch jellyfish at the Maritime Aquarium until now!
