One of eleven small single-room schoolhouses built in the area during the 19th century, many have since been torn down or expanded into residential homes. The Adam’s Schoolhouse still stands, but was actually relocated from its original location, the busy corner of Adams and Sport Hill Road. Today, the school house is home to the Easton Historical Society. They regularly hold special events, exhibits, and meetings at the schoolhouse.
