Norwalk’s location right on the Long Island Sound has allowed for the aquarium to become one of the best in the country. Recently, they have opened an exciting new exhibit called “Animals without Passports” that will stay open until until at least next year. This exhibit focuses on how the humpback whales migrate each year from the Caribbean all the way up to the coasts of New England for the warmer summer months. These whales are forced to endure multiple challenges on their journey such as fishing nets and boats, and pollution.
