The Darien Summer Nights Concert Series Offers a number of different free musical performances from local and out-of-town artists. Upcoming performers include Gunsmoke, Group Therapy, and Doug Allen. The concert series was started by two Darien residents who wanted to give back to their community during the uncertain times of the 2008 recession. The concerts are free, and all the hosts ask for in return is for guests to please support local businesses. Their goal was to keep downtown Darien the thriving hub of commerce that it is today.
