Every year in late April families, art lovers, and gardeners flock to Hartford just when the weather is starting to stay warm for the approach of summer. Where are they going? To the Wadsworth Atheneum’s annual fine art and flowers showcase, of course. This year beginning on April 29 and continuing until May 1 between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm you can walk through the museum to witness the beauty yourself. Artists, garden clubs and interior designers from all over New England come and set up floral decorations that will take your breath away. This event is open to the public and will only cost you normal admission to the museum as well as a $3 fee that will go towards raising money.
