The Connecticut Huskies women’s basketball team is the college basketball program representing the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, in NCAA Division I women’s basketball competition. The Huskies currently play in the American Athletic Conference, the successor of the Big East Conference. They are the last remaining original member of the previous conference.
The UConn Huskies are the most successful women’s basketball program nationwide. They have  won a record 11 NCAA Division I National Championships and a women’s record four in a row (2013–2016), plus over 40 conference regular season and tournament championships.
